I is for Iron Works. Both the South and the North needed them, but south needed it more. The most important Iron Works was in Tredgar Iron Works in Richmond, Virginia. Without them in the South then the South would collapse. The person who owned it was Joseph Reid Anderson. Iron Works had made metal for fighting and a lot more. That is what Iron works is.
