The Wii's main building is a motherboard inside the Wii. But that's not what makes it the Wii. A sensor bar sits by your TV and and registers you movements from the Wii. The Nunchuck connects to the Wii remote and that sends additional signals to the sensor bar. The sensor bar sends signals to the Wii and it does it's thing.
